Worlds Entwined

This game was made as an entry to DevSquad Academy Jam 2020 with the theme of 'Connected Worlds'. The team was made up of a programmer, a level designer, two 3D artists and myself acting as designer and programmer.
Worlds Entwined is a 3D platformer with melee combat where the player needs to gather 3 batteries to fix their broken ship. The player is transported between two worlds which have disappearing platforms.

Design: I proposed the game idea and was responsible for gathering and organising the team. I contributed to all parts of the design and gave feedback on everyone's progress. Our team worked remotely using Agile development with regular stand-up meetings and using Trello.

Programming: I implemented the characters' movement including sourcing the animations, and added the sound effects. I also created the combat system and balanced the damage dealt by the player and enemies. I was also responsible for the UI (except for the victory screen) including the main menu, controls, pause and in-game HUD.
