Samsara is an original IP game owned by Infinity27 Design Studios.
I participated in the game development competition Tranzfuser 2020, organised by the UK Games Fund, where I developed a prototype for the game. Samsara is an action-RPG inspired by the Tibetan Book of the Dead where the core gameplay mechanic is reincarnation based on karma.

Design: I wrote the story of the prototype, designed the lead characters and proposed new gameplay elements such as the transforming weapons that take a different shape based on the attack range. I also helped implement the combat system including dodging, quick and heavy attacks, weapon hit boxes and sound effects.

Programming: I worked primarily on the movement system of the player character and created a climbing system including both the game logic and animation setup. I worked closely with the team's character artist and performed 3D model and rig checks in the engine, and became familiar with the UE4 animation pipeline.

The game is still in development and is expected to be released in 2022.
